How we verify prices

A deal only appears on Bath Price Drop after we've seen the price on the retailer's own product page.

1. Exact product page only. Every link goes to one product: an Amazon /dp/ page or a single Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair or Walmart product page. We don't link to search results or category pages.
2. Price read the same day. We load the page and record the price shown for a new item from the featured seller, the list, typical or was price if the page shows one, the seller, and the time we checked in Eastern Time.
3. No invented discounts. We show a percent-off badge only when the page itself displays a list, typical or was price. Otherwise the card says "No list price shown."
4. Can't confirm, don't publish. We drop listings that are unavailable, missing, behind a bot wall, or showing a price we couldn't read clearly.
5. Fees we can see. When the page shows a delivery fee (common for vanities), we put it in the note.

Prices on these sites change often, sometimes within the hour. The retailer's checkout is always the final price. Every card shows when we last checked it.
